The Double Tripo

Dear diary,

Before I delve into the main reason for this post, I just want to fan girl over Mamamoo, I mean, I don't get how they haven't truly blew up, how are they not garnering as much views like BlackPink? Not to bash on any other girl group, but, the members are truly amazing man, absolute talent, their vocals, their stage presence, and the fact that the leader can sing while pole dancing, that's insane, that's talent right there. Not enough budget on marketing perhaps? And they don't really film their MV inside a box with effects, perhaps that's why they don't have enough budget, it has all gone into their quality music video and member training. Did I also forget to mention that they truly have musical talent? Like, they can acapella, they understand the harmony and things like that, which is truly amazing in my opinion. Not to mention they're like super pretty, Hwasa isn't generic pretty, but her stage presence man, outstanding, she breaks the mold, to be a k-pop star you don't have to be super fair or super stick like figure, she has her own thicc beauty, and she owns it. After all, thicc thighs saves lives, she makes me feel more confident about myself.

So basically we went to KL by plane, took grab to our home stay, pretty neat apartment I'd say, the outside looks kinda old, but it's nice on the inside, there's an in house food place where they serve stuff like Mi Goreng inside the apartment area, which was pretty convenient since it opens early and we have our breakfast there before walking all the way to PFCC (Puchong Financial Corporate Center). The pool is under maintenance though the whole time we're there, not that I plan to use it, just noting.

The first day we took grab to IOI mall and Sunway Pyramid, basically we went shopping for the whole day, walking around. One of the malls has a neat selection of clothes that I really like, at a cheap price too, the one that I super like sadly was too expensive, so I just settled for that one, pretty cheap.

Christmas decoration at IOI mall, they also have a circus performing outside, one adult ticket cost RM50, a tad bit expensive for me, but on second thought, I should've supported them since it's rare to find a circus in town and it's pretty much a dying art here

Rather overpriced matcha thing, snow ice kinda thing, it's nice, but, I suppose, below expectation with the price given, I expected something taller than this

Finally saw the skating ring

View of Sunway Lagoon from where we ate our dinner

Our dinner, oyster mee sua, it's... lacking something? For some reason it didn't taste as good as the one I ate in Queensbay

Nice little Grab waiting place, air-conditioned with charging ports and wifi, neat, well thought out this place

Ze apartment

Moving on to the second day, which is the whole point why we even came to KL. Basically we were pretty lost in the morning, not really sure where to go since it's a distance from where we are to PFCC, and the roads doesn't look like a walkway, so we didn't know where to have breakfast and whatnot. Mom asked the guards and they told us there's a cafeteria within the apartment area, so we went to have breakfast, nice little place.

Then we followed maps, this happened before, maps taking me to god knows where, but we followed a dude with a suit and a briefcase and then followed another lady, and ended up in PFCC. All good. Apparently Lelong is also called Interbase Resources.

The office sign, the whole class was pretty straightforward, I think my mom bought not a really good deal IMO, since other seller platform is free, we have to pay Lelong 200++ for 2 years, and the transaction percentage is pretty high
Sabah Pan Mee, expensive lil thing, tasty at least

Meh mozarella fried banana, mom really wanted to try it

THIS, is awesome, only RM7, have more stuff than the previous pan mee we ate in the afternoon

Setia Walk

Saw this bingsu shop, I was entranced by the sculpted real life looking food outside, it's very expensive, but my mom was like c'mon let's go inside

So, this is what I expected

This is what I get though, mom really likes it, yoghurt bingsu, I wanted the matcha one, but the yoghurt was recommended too.The berries were too sour for me, also the ice cream is so tiny... c'mon, we paid so much, almost 20 bucks, give us a bigger scoop! At least the whole thing is pretty big, and we were quite full.

The whole shop is pretty cute
Ahh, after KL, it just makes me feel that, I don't really understand the people who are hella rich but still depressed... the things money can buy though, including happiness, share it with the right people of course.

Moving on to Sarawak!

I loved that place. My grandma is not senile at all, she still remembers a lot of things, and still pretty smart. She remembers the lyrics to all the old songs, and my aunts went YouTube for the karaoke version of her songs, fun times, seeing super old grandma singing karaoke.
Also the time when I pushed her wheelchair and she didn't know, since everyone she knows was in front, so she was pretty confused who's pushing her wheelchair, that was funny.
Also she kept wanting me to cut my hair gahddammit.
The family is warm and hella chatty, too bad the first day I was there I had a major headache, probably really tired since the apartment's air was too dry and I had difficulty falling asleep, and also the air pressure in the plane made me have a tremendous headache at the front part of my head. So yeah, not a good day at all, I thought it was food poisoning, cuz it also accompanied some nauseous feeling. Google said I had a migraine, which lasted 3 days, for me. The smell in the car also made it worse. For some reason I became super sensitive to stimuli, the smell made me nauseous, even the movement of the car, god, make it stop. Felt better when I went to the aunt's apartment, the air there is so much better and cooler.

I spent many days swimming, I love swimming, headaches feels much more better after some swim.

Some pictures to remember things by.

They germinated avocado seedlings! Me and da tried to last time, didn't work at ALL

Kuching actually have a bunch of stuff, can't believe they actually had a baby spa, I saw them babies swimming in there and the workers look really happy and warm

This Uncle Tetsu copycat taste way much better than Uncle Tetsu and is way cheaper as well

Market

I always eat this in Sarawak, you can find it everywhere here, up till now, I kept thinking it's some sort of parasite living inside a tree bark, but it's actually shell fish, it's still alive when we bought them

I keep eating this too, crispy egg juicy oyster, you can't really find this in Penang, I love it, one of my favorite Sarawak food

The cooked wormy thing

Also native Sarawak food, taste like olive

After nibbling it abit

Mom cracked it open to reveal something more inside, we then ate some durians, I love it, good times

They have cats!

Ermagherd they're so cute, the black one is so anti-social though :<

It purrrs!!! :DDDD

Went to Semariang water park the next day, it's not bad for the price point

B-Menu, restaurant, fancy cat potrait be fancy

The restaurant's outside

The restaurant have fancy decorations though

Path leading to the front door of the restaurant, see that orangy light...we... accidentally did that. Upon knowing that the ball of lights are portable, we decided to make a snowman out of it, the "snowman's" head fell you see, and that ball never acted the same ever, despite our efforts.

Ermagherd ice garden

I freaking love it

Snow ice salted peanut isho gooood

It puurrss!!!

Sunnyside ice cream, cheap homemade ice cream, long line though, Church opened this shop

BBQ thai style thingy for dinner on Christmas eve

Gahd damn this decoration, this frog be like, "hey, how've you been, come here often?", the Spring mall, Kuching

Ate this nearly everyday though, you can only find it in Sarawak, Kolok mee, another one is Sarawak laksa but I didn't really take a picture of that. We crossed the street for this hawker, I tell ya, my mom's family are food hunters around this area, we kept eating at different places for every single meal every single time, even if it's at home they would buy something from outside for us to eat

The MPH here spares no fucks

Meh Vietnamese desserts... it's a bunch of beans, red beans, green beans with coconut milk

Looks nice but again... very meh, we have no choice but to eat here you see before me and my mom went home, since it's Christmas day everything was packed except for this. We're at Vivacity btw, since the apartment is directly above the mall, it's more convenient to just walk downstairs

At the airport, they have Ice Garden there! So my mom bought some, last taste before going back

Byeeeee

Dinner in Penang, it's late, we haven't had dinner yet, so I ate this

Yeah, I loved the apartment above Vivacity, the air is good, the view is nice, and there's facilities like the pool, gym, sauna, even library! I love the pool, it's big. And deep enough, but not too deep to the point where I don't feel safe. And if you ever feel like shopping, just step downstairs to the Megamall, man, I love that place. Also the balcony view, during Chinese new year or even Christmas (which I experience), you can see fireworks going crazy, also, not to mention since it's in the view of the airport, you can see airplanes taking off, which was kinda cool in my opinion.
