Adventures with mom

During my supposed semester break, mom decided to take me to this China House thingy, where they serve cakes

Found this rather disturbing artwork just laying around

It was said that this place was founded by some sort of artist or someone who really appreciates art, whoever it is, is someone with a ton of cash though, since they own such a big piece of land in the middle of the very busy town, which means much higher land prices. There's open air kinda thing at the back, and the back is really long.

Very nice mural

Food's insane expensive though, like, one cake plus one quiche plus 2 drinks set us back 60++ bucks... but eh, you get to color the paper underneath

There are art exhibitions upstairs and also a tiny shop, I suppose this shop also aims to help artist gain more exposures and things like that, also they're probably making bank themselves by selling overpriced cakes. I'm sure people are willing to pay, I did notice the patrons are mostly really rich looking young adults or foreigners, equally rich looking.
